Last week, Grin + Bear Booth had the incredible opportunity to exhibit at a bustling bridal expo, and I came away with some fascinating insights into the wedding trends for the next couple of years. The energy was electric, and it was clear that couples are not only excited about their big days but are also planning them further in advance than ever before.
Advanced Bookings Are the New Norm
One of the most noticeable shifts I observed was the increasing trend of couples booking their vendors with significantly more lead time. Where we might have previously seen a flurry of last-minute bookings or shorter engagement periods, it now seems that couples are planning their weddings a year or even two in advance for Photo Booths. This level of foresight not only allows them to secure their dream vendors but also ensures they can lock in dates during the highly sought-after wedding season.
We saw an increased amount of fall 2026 couples at this past weeks expo. My recommendation for all 2026 couples is to get the date on the calendar now as the increased demand will not last. 2025 couples still have a chance to get on the calendar, but it is important to book soon!

Based on what I saw at the expo, I’m confident that the wedding seasons for 2025 and 2026 are going to be sellouts. The demand for key dates is already sky-high, and I’ve heard from several other vendors that their calendars are filling up faster than ever.
